After Rainier lets Andrew listen in on his intimate conversation with Kathleen, their rivalry heats up as they both try to win Kathleen's heart. Lee Ja Young, (Choi Ji Woo) comes from a poor family who lives in the basement of one of her rich schoolmates, Lee Shin Hee (Park Sun Young). Lee Shin Hee's father is a city official and Lee Ja Young's father is his chauffeur. Ja Young has a boyfriend named Park Seung Jae (Song Ji Chang) who mistakes her as Shin Hee and later breaks up with her because of this. Ja Young is one of the top students in her class as Shin Hee is one of the more mediocre students. On the day for college entrance exams, Shin Hee's family bribes Ja Young family into Ja Young taking the test for her. Ja Young is forced to take it for the sake of her family's future.
At one of Shin Hee's birthday party, Shin Hee's crush, Jung Hyun Woo (Ryu Shi Won), notices Ja Young and he begins to court her. Time passes and Hyun Woo and Ja Young begin to date. Shin Hee is extremely jealous of Ja Young and begins to hate her. On an outing one night, the three people get into a terrible car accident while Shin Hee was driving. The suspect: Ja Young.

Best friends, Su La (Ruby Lin) & Yan Ru Yu (Zeng Li) are Shanghai University graduates. They face hardships of love and work, and struggle to make living in the big city of Shanghai. By chance, Su La meets a young successful CEO named Qiu Shi (Lu Yi). Qiu Shi is deeply attracted to Su La and starts to pursue for her love. However, because of her strong self-esteem and still recovering from the last relationship, Su La is unwilling to accept Qiu Shi. She determines to concentrate on helping her boss, Liu Hao Dong (Yu Xiao Wei), to advance the first step into Shanghai tourism enterprise.
In the tense society and the work competition, Su La & Yan Ru Yu is struggling in to make their ways, so the two choose two different paths. Yan Ru Yu violates the work ethics, betrays the travel agency and put the blame on Su La. With all the blame on Su La, she then loses her job. Because of this, their friendship is broken and they separate.
However, this does not discourage Su La. Not only she recovers from the setback but she unites with her former-colleague from the travel agency. With the two of them together, they manage and own a bar for women. However, she has to go through several difficulties to get where she is. Qiu Shi, having such strong feelings for Su La. He then has forgotten about his CEO superior and is there to for Su La repeatedly. The two goes through bumpy roads as a couple and eventually become like family members at last. As for Yan Ru Yu, she marries her boss, Liu Hao Dong, but the result was not what she expected. After reconsidering, she chooses the correct path, & makes a fresh start in Shanghai.
July 26 | WILL JULIAN LET JASMINE GO?
The Chairman is determined to set up Nico and Jasmine, he conspires with Annabelle and Robert to fix their biggest "obstacle" â Lady Jang. After expressing her clear dislike of Jasmine for her son, Annabelle takes Lady Jang to the spa in order to make her think otherwise. Unfortunately, Lady Jang is one tough nut to crack leaving the Chairman desperate but Robert advises him to just concentrate on Nico instead.
While picking up Auntie Annabelle and Uncle Robert's wedding rings at the mall, Julian teases Jasmine with the free couple's ring. What they don't realize is that Nico is actually watching them from afar. He contacts Anika to help her make up with Julian hoping that they will be able to finalize their engagement at last.
Both Jasmine and Julian are extremely uncomfortable during dinner and as Nico continued to talk about Julian and Anika's engagement, Jasmine excuses herself and Nico offers to take her home. In spite of their close friendship Jasmine couldn't help but get angry at Nico that night for being so insensitive. She flatly tells him that there won't be any romance between them â ever. Nico suddenly tells Jasmine that Julian's cousin is already dead. Meanwhile, Julian and Anika have a serious talk.
As Jasmine continues to fall for Julian, each day is a struggle for her to not show him her feelings. What she doesn't realize is that Julian's been keeping something too. After she finds out about his cousin's death, Jasmine demands that Julian let her go. Will Julian finally open up to Jasmine or will he just let her leave his life forever?

Julian of My Girl is here in Manila! The first and true home of Asianovelas in the Philippines, ABS-CBN brings the viewers of the hit Koreanovela closer to their favorite international stars! Supporters of actor Lee Dong Woo aka Julian, swarmed the ABS-CBN compound for just a glimpse of the Korean hottie. His shy smile and gracious answers during his press conference yesterday made him more endearing to his followers specially the females.
Staying in the country for 4 days, Dong Wook is also in the Philippines to promote his very first movie, Arang. The suspense thriller, which also stars famous Korean actress Song Yun Ah, is based on a Korean folklore about a Minister's daughter who died defending her honor when one of her father's servants attempted to rape her. Arang will retell the tale in a more up to date setting. Lee Dong Wook will be playing one of the detectives who got involved in solving the case. He describes his character as very complex, a far cry from his character Julian on My Girl. It was psychologically hard and it was a great challenge for him as an actor. He thinks his personality is more like Julian, a bit serious and 'shy around girls'. His most memorable scene on My Girl was when Jasmine or actress Lee Da Hae gets the star on top of the Christmas tree. "It was really freezing that day. My hands and feet were frozen!" he shared. "But I also enjoyed our kissing scenes". he added playfully.
At only 25, Lee Dong Wook has come far from his debut as an actor when he was just 18 years old. He humbly described himself as a 'simple high school boy' in his junior year. He wasn't blessed like other actors who easily entered the business when they were discovered by talent scouts. He enrolled in acting school and went to one audition after the other until he landed an acting job. "Acting isn't really easy. That's why I am always trying my best," he told the press through an interpreter. He likes reading books or spending time with friends, like actor Jo Insung (Memories of Bali and Spring Day), whom he has known for 7 years.
Lee Dong Wook was also pressed on his knowledge about the Philippines and he promptly answered, "Cebu", "Boracay". He also shared that he practiced a few Filipino phrases a few days before but since he was placed on the spot he sort of forgot it. But before the presscon ended he managed to recover from his mental block and was able to muster "Mahal ko kayo" and "Salamat" which got cheers from the crowd. He also answered a fast 'No'. to the question if he has a girlfriend. This time he got all the girls in the room giddy. He then apologized for not being able to shake hands with everyone for he had a workout injury 3 days before his scheduled trip and had it in a cast.
His entourages' next stop would be Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. But not before he visits Willie Revillame on Wowowee tomorrow July 22 and has a one on one interview with Kris Aquino on The Buzz on Sunday. Don't dare miss the Korean heartthrob's appearances on ABS-CBN!
